Allegiance Bank Offers Business Customers
         STAR Deposit Check Scanning Service

                  Allegiance Bank has a new product to improve the cash flow of business
                    customers - STAR Deposit check scanning service eliminates extra trips to
                   the bank and saves time and money. The service consists of scanning
                 hardware and software that allows businesspeople to convert the checks to an             image file. The small desktop scanner enables the electronic image of each check         to be transmitted to the Allegiance Bank data center. There are no held funds on checks drawn on out-of-state financial institutions. With STAR Deposit, Allegiance Bank offers extended hours to make deposits: up to 6 pm for credit by 9 am the next morning; up to 2 pm for the end of business day credit.

"This new business service couldn't be more convenient or secure," says Gregg Wagner, President of Allegiance Bank. "STAR Deposit really speeds access to funds. While the latest encryption technology and multi-level password protection keeps electronic checks safe."

Allegiance Bank requires that customers keep scanned checks in a safe place for 60 days, after which they are destroyed in a cross shredder. For 30 days, check images are also accessible via STAR Deposit software; after that time, customers can contact Allegiance Bank for images seven years.

Customers can have STAR Deposit scanners at multiple locations. This allows funds to be consolidated quickly and easily, to improve cash flow. When checks are returned for Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF), Allegiance Bank returns the check along with a letter to our business customers..
